As this whole pod is on 5 day lockdown after a very brutal fight that led to one dead inmate and a guard on life support at the hospital, we decide to pass the time and do a little protesting of our conditions. We've prepared this little show for you. It took a lot of swinging kites back and forth under the doors to get everyone informed and in agreement, and now the show is ready. We present to you "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"

One of the first things I learned when I worked in a wet cell unit was
where the main water control valves were,

I'm thinking that this problem could be solved with limits and scheduling. Maybe the toilets being limited to 5 flushes pr hour, enough to cause a little puddle if stuffed but not enough to cause the tier to turn into an aquarium. Sinks can only be run at designated times for only a certain amount of time pr cell. All it would take is programmable water metering and shutoff devices in the pipe runs.

Of course this creates the problem of no more contstant "courtesy flushes" while a cellmate is taking a shit, and this surely violates the inmates' rights somehow. :-|

Often what would otherwise a reasonable solution both can live with
is doomed to such action by a court or legislation.
